Lena Elbakshish thinks it’s time to reinvest in schools

Lena Elbakshish is a Lake Oswego parent who couldn’t sit on the decision-making sidelines any further.

“I have three kids within the district,” said Elbakshish. “And really wanted to get involved in some of the decision making that’s been going on … a lot of the community input is not being heard at the school board level and so that’s what one of my goals is: to bring that voice into that decision making forum.”
